Service Description

Level 2: This level is one of most formative years of a ballet training and should not be rushed. The second & third year in beginning classical ballet training focusing on strength in previous basic concepts from Level 1 preparing for more port de bra in the coming years. Classes promote development of correct muscle strength, fluidity, and solidity in ballet movements still mostly facing the barre and in simple centre combinations using a few across the floor repetitions. Classes allow dancers to thrive and be excited to learn ballet for their age requirement. Level 2 dancers take basic knowledge of ballet training to begin to learn to ask for solidified, structured & clean movements cancelling out any missed concepts that sometimes show up in dancers who may have missed these crucial years of training. This level trains a rooted coordination for the ballet demands from advanced level classes later on. Important Level 2 Details: New attire color when awarded Level 2; Not Intro 2 program **Class attendance is highly suggested as it is a requirement for consideration in progression into our Level program out the Introduction program. Students particularly adept are encouraged at Pointe prep 2 age 10.5+ to start pointe evaluations with Miss Nikkii. This will prepare them for placement on pointe when ready. Level 2 dancers are required to pass the Basic Term 2-3 Exam to move to Level 3 achieving their first set of soft shoe ribbons in preparation for pointe in the coming years as well as a new attire colored leotard in addition to their black from Level 1 or Intro Level 2 program. Level 2 : Ages 10 - 12+: (2.5 hours a week required*) Wed 5:15 - 6:15 pm: Beginning Ballet Technique 2 + Pointe Prep 1 - 2 + Fri 11:00 am -12:30 pm : Beg Character & Contemporary Ballet + Broadway/Theater *Pointe evaluations are $20 per evaluation with paperwork to track a dancers progress Q&A **Find cost at top under title Level 2 in boxes **Monthly option is available once dancer is attending 2x week **Register for class to be assigned placement

Cancellation Policy

Cancelling within a 3 week session does not always mean you will be able to reschedule an appointment with our staff as there are only a select amount of appointments available within each session **No shows or late attendance forfeits time lost, the cost of private lesson and will not be rescheduled to be fair to our staffs time.
